Involved in Facilities Management since 1992, intially as a client, later as a supplier, Patrick Jongbloet, owner of eager-4-excellence Limited, continues to experience an interesting and challenging career in this industry.
His niche knowledge and experiences covers the outsourcing process , relationship building, and performance management areas of FM contracts. Clients such as Primark, Westfield Shopping Centres, Ofcom, Dalkia, Cofathec, HBOS, Unilever, Standard Life, etc. benefit from this expertise as delegates at a training event, or by hiring eager-4-excellence direct as a specialist project manager, or simply as trouble shooter and FM marriage guidance advisor.
eager-4-excellence is a strategic partner in the FM Guru network. For an 18 month period, Patrick was Chairman of the BIFM South Region (British Institute of Facilities Management) from 2004 to 2006, and he continues to be active by speaking at regional, national (BIFM Oxford 2006), and International (Euro FM Rotterdam 2003) Conferences.
During his career at Eurotunnel, Patrick secured a finalist spot at the 1999 PFM Partnership awards, a feat repeated in 2005 as the specialist outsourcing process advisor for the Head of Facilities at Ofcom, and again in 2007 as specialist independent advisor between Dalkia & Ofcom
Patrick has built up a reputation as a passionate presenter and facilitator on FM matters and has become an omnipresent entity at the 6-monthly FM Forums. Occasionally, when time allows it, he likes contributing to the trade press as well in the form written articles or opinion pieces in various FM publications, such as the FM Essentials Bulletin, i-fm.net, FM World, the GEE Publishing series,...). |
